Timothy Leary on the Wall Street Occupation Movement

Timothy Leary Foresaw the Wall Street Occupation

"In one of his last published writings, Timothy Leary foresaw the current generation of youth making use of the exploding technology of new communication software and devices to challenge the control exerted by centralized governments and corrupt institutions. The following was written in 1990 and revised in 1994."

More Than Inside

From within
and to beyond
the song sings
her faces before me

interlaces liquid-states of mind
we find one another
in harmonious nests
of moment to moment;

only occasionally a few fall out

how we are is where we are
and when we go
we know to be and free ourselves from nothing more
than where we wander to

nothing to hold
but holding
and histories
haunting harmonic
patterns that form
my nervous systems

sacred chanting silence speaks
into the sleeping minds of children
that when they awaken,
enchants their waking dreams
with the swirling Light of Her Bliss
